You can apply to our program anytime. We will review your application and set up a brief introductory meeting to get to know you and answer any questions you might have.

Present your business

Meet business leaders and experts on our Selection Committee to present your vision and plans to get accepted to the Program. Once accepted, we will match you with experts in our Mentor program based on your specific
needs.

Strategy Deep Dive

We kick off your 4 month Growth Program with a complete review of your business to identify strategic opportunities that will accelerate your growth and build a path to attract private sector funding. You will come out of this meeting with a tailored set of goals to achieve by the end of the program, a set of KPIs to track progress, and an action plan for you and your Mentors to work on.

1:1 Expert Coaching

Receive hands-on advice and guidance from our highly skilled and experienced Mentors. They are experts in the areas that help you grow, and offer highly targeted support in regular 1:1 sessions throughout the program.

Lead Coach Check-Ins

Your Lead Coach at GB Accelerator will meet with you every two weeks (or as often as you want) to provide strategic advice, unblock you with any challenges you might face, and help you to accelerate your progress.

Program Advisory Board

All of your Mentors and your Lead Coach join forces in your Program Advisory Board. The board will meet with you every four weeks to review progress and learnings, adjust your action plan if needed, and align on next steps. Meetings and Progress Reports along the way will prepare you for formal board meetings once you received funding.

Alumni Program

After completion of our Growth Program, you will become part of our GBA Alumni Program. You still have access your Lead Coach at GBA, can tap into our extensive business network, and give back by supporting the next generation of founders in the GB Accelerator.

The GB Accelerator provides entrepreneurs with extensive guidance for rapid growth. We believe that the more energy we bring to an entrepreneur's ideas the better they get.

The GB Accelerator is operated by experienced leaders and founders. We have launched and grown business across many industries, experienced phases of explosive growth and the pains that come with it, and have repeatedly attracted private funding.

Through the GB Accelerator, we share our experience, educate entrepreneurs, accelerate venture growth, increase tech transfer, attract private sector funding, and help to create jobs in our community.

Our 1:1 business coaching from seasoned entrepreneurs and our impactful mentoring program has had a significant impact on the success of many companies across the South Georgian Bay region.

  • Open for applications year-round (not a cohort-based program)

  • Program duration 4 months, beginning with acceptance into the program
